生物:

Hello, my name is 罗兰多·桑切斯. Here's a little bit about me: My academic background includes a B.A. in Economics at the University of Illinois – Chicago, an M.A. in Economics from The University of Texas – 圣安东尼奥, plus an M.B.A. 和M.A. in Education from the University of the Incarnate Word.  Professional background has been built around his attraction to the field of economics. Upon graduation with my undergraduate degree, this led to my first job out of college as a commodities broker in downtown Chicago. I have been following the markets since the early 1990's. I am a tenured member of the Economics faculty at 西北维斯塔学院. I have served as a Board Member and the Secretary of the 圣安东尼奥 业务 and Economic Society. Other affiliations include the World Affairs Council – 圣安东尼奥, 自由贸易联盟, and the Friends of Fulbright-圣安东尼奥 Chapter. I have been able to use my work and academic experiences to travel abroad to try to make an impact as an educator and engage with foreign citizens and businesses to see how they handle their own economic issues. In 2011, I was selected to be part of the T.E.A.C.H. group (sponsored by the Bilateral-U.S. Arab Chamber of Commerce) that traveled to Bahrain and Qatar for two weeks in order to raise awareness, 理解, and cooperation between educators in the United States and the Middle East. 在2013年, as part of UIW’s Women’s Global Connection volunteer mission, I participated in a two-week immersion and research trip to provide economics and business practice workshops in Chimbote and Lima, 秘鲁适合女性企业家. I was invited as a guest lecturer at The Hague University for the 2014 fall semester. There, I  taught a course that I created called “Understanding the Rise of China." In 2015, 我在哈瓦那呆了一个月, Cuba exploring the possibility of making the country’s entrepreneurial spirit the topic of my graduate studies. I consider myself to be a global citizen with proud Chicago roots who happens to live in 圣安东尼奥 at the moment. I passionately support all Chicago sports teams.
