网络防御 Students representing NLC as the “NightHax” competed in a national cyber security competition

网络防御 Students representing 东北湖景学院 as the “NightHax” competed again this fall in a national cyber security competition. Students competed individually and then as a team. The NightHax team earned distinction in the (Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) challenge, ranking 21st 在3926支球队中. 夜斧也排在第44位th 在密码破解和94th 在取证挑战中. 整体, the NightHax team placed in the Top 4% of competitors in the National Cyber League besting numerous university and graduate school teams from across the US.

The National Cyber League competition is a “capture the flag” or “hack-a-thon” style event for U.S. collegiate (2yr, 4yr, and graduate) level schools. The competition includes challenges from Open-Source Intelligence, 密码学, 密码破解, 取证, 还有其他5个类别. Students are given cyber security challenges ranging from easy to hard and have 56 hours over a single weekend to solve as many challenges as possible.

关于NLC的网络防御计划

The 网络防御 program at 东北湖景学院 began in 2019 and since then has been awarded several recognitions.  Most recently being recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) as a program of Academic Excellence.  NLC's 网络防御 program equips students with industry-relevant Cyber Security Training in Cisco, 窗户, and Linux inside of a dedicated network environment.
